Before we talk about travels, here is some update on the search for property in the Philippines. Presently, we have had much difficulty actually purchasing any property. Many factors have caused those difficulties. This week, the men there have examined another two properties and we are waiting for further information. One of the properties seems to be what is usable, but we have had that situation three times already and have been forced to cancel the purchase for various reasons. So please continue to pray for the success of our search. Please make this decision a matter of prayer. It is certainly frustrating but we continue to wait on the Lord.

The last Monday of June was the opening of classes for Bible Baptist Seminary of the Philippines and we are glad that we can include a photograph of the group that was present for the opening of the new school year.

What a wonderful treat to be with our sons and their families. We have already traveled from Missouri to Florida to New York to Indiana and back to Missouri. If you read our last post, you might remember that we had plans to attend the family of the mother of Gloria. We were able to do that and met a large number of relatives that we had not met in our 54 years together. Some that Gloria had not seen since childhood. It was a good reunion. Also found out that there were several pastors among that family group.

We were than able to attend the reunion of the family of Dennis. There were several present that he has not met. One nephew will have his fiance there and they are to be married in July. It was great to see so many children of our nephews that we could enjoy meeting. There was even time for some golf time included in the occasion.

Now it is on to other travels, including Chicago, Indianapolis, and Peoria. What a treat to see people that make it clear that we are important to them as their ambassadors to the Filipino people.
